All you need to know about Mystic Box!!!

What is Mystic Box?

Mystic Box is a fantastic bi-monthly subscription box service that delivers signed exclusive hardcover editions of your favorite dark, mafia, taboo, or erotic romance books AND fun and one-of-a-kind book swag goodies (like super cool stuff you won’t find in other subscription boxes. Trust us. We looked.). You will be charged immediately after subscribing. You will receive an email confirmation of your order and be given access to your Mystic Box account right away.


Subscriptions can be customized to your liking; they can be automatically renewed every two months, every six months, or even annually, based on your preference. We also offer gift subscriptions with one-time payment or auto-renew options.


What kind of books will I receive in a Mystic Box?

Each box contains exclusive hardcover editions (you won't find these covers elsewhere) of only dark, mafia, taboo, forbidden, or erotica books in the romance genre. Depending on when you sign up, that season's box or a mystery box. The specific box you receive as a first-time subscriber is subject to availability. 


The Mystery Box is offered in between seasons once the current season's box has sold out. It may contain past season's books and swag.


How much does a Mystic Box subscription cost?

The bi-monthly Mystic Box is $54.99 plus shipping. Subscription renewals are on the 15th of the month, every two months.


Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do ship internationally to select countries. Shipping fees differ base on location.

- US: $4.99 shipping for subscription boxes only, packages 3-4 lbs = $8.50, packages 4-5 lbs = $12.50, packages 5-10 lbs = $25

- Canada: SUBSCRIPTION BOX ONLY or packages under 3 lbs = $19.99, Packages 3-4 lbs = 24.99, Packages over 4 lbs = 34.99.

- Australia, New Zealand, UK, France, and Ireland: SUBSCRIPTION BOX ONLY or packages under 3 lbs = $29.99, Packages 3-4 lbs = 39.99, Packages over 4 lbs = 34.99.


If you live in a country that is not listed above, you can contact us at info@mysticbox.co with your name and location and we can check if we can ship to your country. 


If your order is being shipped to an APO/FPO location, please note there might be significant delays for your order to arrive depending on where you are located. 

All prices are in USD. Foreign exchange, transaction fees and custom fees may apply to non-US customers.


What are my payment options?

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards and Paypal.


When will my Mystic Box be mailed to me?

The Mystic Boxes are shipped on the first week of each month depending on when you signed up for the subscription. If you signed up for a subscription on January 15, your box will be mailed out on the first week of February. Your next renewal will be March 15 and the next box will be mailed out on the first week of April. If you signed up on Feb 15,  your box will be mailed out on the first week of March. Your next renewal will be April 15 and the next box will be mailed out on the first week of May.

Order and cancellations are due before the renewal date (the 15th of the month depending on when you signed up).

 

Can I return my crate if I already have the book?

Unfortunately, no. We are unable to process returns at this time. All Mystic Box purchases, both subscription and shop purchases, are nonrefundable and we do not accept returns or exchanges. Any returns made to us will not be eligible for a refund.


My items were damaged during shipping or my box is lost.

If you received a damaged product or if you are missing a product, please email us at info@mysticbox.co within two weeks of delivery and we will assist you in getting the item replaced. Please include a photo when reaching out to our support team.

If your delivery is missing, we must be notified within two weeks of receiving your tracking information. If your tracking number shows as delivered, your box is illegible for a refund or replacement. 


Can I cancel my subscriptions?

We are sorry to see you go, but absolutely, you can. But did you know that you can choose to skip a box? We know that money gets tight at times, so we do have the option of skipping a box as needed. 

However, if you still wish to cancel, you can do so at any time by logging into your account on our website. 

You will still receive any box that you have already paid for prior to your cancellation. If you have paid for a crate and want a refund, this must be requested via email at info@mysticbox.co by the 15th of the month prior to the date of the next scheduled shipment (i.e., January 15th for the January shipment).

How can I become a Featured Author for Mystic Box?

We are always looking for more featured authors for our boxes! Please fill out the interest form on our Featured Authors page. Please note that we require an e-copy of your book to review with your submission to insure that your novel is a good fit for the service.


Please be advised that, even though we’d love to accommodate every author that contacts us, all our spots are limited. Submission of application doesn’t always guarantee a spot and – due to there only being 12 months in a year – we do have a rather extensive waiting list.

We are always on the look-out for new, different, and unique vendors for Mystic Box! Please email us at info@mysticbox.co and we will contact you. Each book is carefully curated and we strive to have unique and one-of-a-kind items for our boxes.

If a swag item is author/book/genre/book lover-related, not something you can find everywhere, or simply the cutest thing ever and MUST be in one of our boxes, we want it!
